R.G. Taylor is the Founder and President of Spike Media Group, LLC (SMG). The goal of SMG is to facilitate the development of R.G.'s intellectual properties into great stories through painting, theater, animation, television and film.

R.G. received his Bachelor's of Science degree majoring in TV, Film, Radio and Performance from Oral Roberts University. He went on to study Directing at Columbia College Chicago. R.G. was honored to study under Sheldon Patinkin, Chair of the Theater Department of Columbia College Chicago and Michael Maggio, assistant artistic director of The Goodman Theater. R.G. is a professional actor, producer, director, radio show host, teacher, speaker and best-selling author!

R.G.'s inspiration for writing is largely from the storytelling he shared with his two children:

“Making up stories for their bedtimes, and inserting them as characters, was always fun for us. I hope my books will inspire families to work together to make their community a better place.” 

Spike and the Holiday Parade is the first book in a planned series. R.G.'s artwork is exhibited throughout South Florida and in private collections.
