R.G. Taylor was born and raised in the suburb of Bridgeview, Illinois. R.G. received his Bachelor’s of Science degree majoring in TV, Film, Radio and Performance from Oral Roberts University. He is a professional actor, director, producer, radio show host, teacher and speaker.

As an educator turned author, R.G. received valuable inspiration and feedback as a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators in the South Florida Area.

R.G.’s storytelling began with his own two children and the bedtime tales he created for their enjoyment. When he’s not sharing yet another story about Pugs with his kids, R.G. is enjoying good food and the beach. Spike and the Holiday Parade is his first book in a planned series.
